Richmond is rich with history and the architecture that goes along with a storied past. One of my favorite venues is the downtown Main Street Station, a Victorian-style working train station that exudes old-world elegance. No wonder I chose it as the backdrop for some of my team photos last year. In addition to operating as an Amtrak stop, Main Street Station has long been a desired spot for events ranging from weddings and private parties to press conferences.
Now, Main Street Station is also a gateway to Richmond, welcoming visitors and locals with resources on the region’s attractions and history. Whether you are passing by its clocktower on the urban expressway, pulling in on the train tracks, or strolling by on your way to Shockoe Bottom, stop into Main Street Station for a glimpse at the exquisite space.
