Laura believes that attitude is everything and integrity is non-negotiable.
As a Richmond native, Laura has long been woven into the fabric of this ever changing city, which is so rich in history, diverse in wonderful citizens, and full of untapped potential. In addition to the Richmond market, Laura specializes in waterfront properties and country estates. She has a place on the Yeocomico River, and loves anything that involves being on or near the water.
Laura deeply believes in the role she plays helping Richmond develop and flourish as a city and community, and for 20 years she has done that by helping people. Prior to becoming a realtor, Laura worked for years as a behavioral health counselor helping individuals and active duty military veterans get their lives back on track.
Buying or selling a home can be stressful, and Laura is trained and experienced at relieving the stress and delivering a positive outcome. Laura’s strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, experience and genuine nature have helped thousands of people navigate and overcome challenging times.
Laura graduated from Collegiate School and The University of Virginia. She is a board member of Jackson-Feild Episcopal Home and is a member of, and volunteers for, the Windsor Farms Garden Club, The Tuckahoe Women’s Club, First Presbyterian Church, and The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Swimming is a year-round passion and she is always up for a travel adventure or a great belly laugh. Laura has a keen aesthetic eye and loves prowling antique and estates sales for treasures. She is a lifelong lover of music, especially live performances. A self-proclaimed “urban chicken wrangler,” there are few moments more enjoyable to Laura than feeding her chickens and collecting their eggs on brisk, dewy mornings.
Being involved in the community and supporting friends in their endeavors is one of Laura's favorite pastimes.
