Before I go, let’s talk some pho. Yummy comfort food is a great way to stay warm and cozy outside, and my current favorite fireside dinner is pho. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s a Vietnamese soup with noodles, fresh herbs, and chicken, meat, or tofu. The broth is made first, then the other items are added at the last minute, so it has a delightful fresh flavor.
If you are in Richmond, here are a few places that provide great pho to go.
Pho So 1: Authentic, inexpensive, and full of menu options, it’s a great choice for pho. Now located at 9135 West Broad Street, it’s been reopened by the original owners.
Vietnam One: Also my favorite place for noodle bowls, it has wonderful pho and a nice choice of take-out options that should please everyone. Located at 6215 West Broad Street, near Horsepen.
Sen Organic Small Plate: Pho at its best, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. Located in Carytown at 2901 West Cary Street.
So, may the spirit of a brand new year keep you warm, safe, and cozy.
Enjoy!
